You should go to the music store and take a look at them first. They are all nice.

If you are looking to save money, buy a low end model like the Taylor 110 or 210. Actually, anything in the 100 and 200 Series of Taylor Guitars are nice and a real value in the Taylor line. The acoustic electric versions run about $100 more than the acoustics at this level. Try one of these 'cheapie' Taylors, and you'll be impressed.

Another option is to check eBay and look at the used acoustic guitars that they have there. Every once in a while a Taylor will slip by with few bids and you can get one there as cheap as anywhere.

Me? I'm saving up for an 814ce, but that's some serious money.
