Tags: acoustic guitars, Acoustic Guitar, Play Guitar, Beginner Guitars I am going to learn to play guitar and I've decided to learn on an acoustic guitar. What is a good brand of an acoustic guitar that provides some level of quality. I don't want to break the bank, but I do have some flexibility with my spending limit so price should not be the main issue.
Some of the better brands of acoustic guitars include Martin, Taylor, Alvarez and Gibson. You can find many of the basic models in these lines starting around $500. However, you can save a lot of money by buying a used acoustic guitar and come in under five hundred bucks or get a better model at this price point.
Everybody that plays acoustic guitar has their favorite. My favorite is Taylor but my friend loves Martin. Since you are learning to play, visit the different music stores and have someone else play for you so you can see how each guitar sounds. Once you find one that sounds good to you, hold the guitar and pay attention to the neck to make sure that it is a comfortable fit for you. The sound and the feel of the acoustic guitar are what is important to the individual player. Good luck!
I looked at most of the brands already mentioned and went with Gibson for my acoustic guitar.
