I'm pretty new to acoustic guitar and I'm looking for a capo for some songs that I want to try playing. I've never had one and don't know much about them. Are there different types of capos? Can you recommend any for me? As I said, this is for a used acoustic guitar that I recently bought off of eBay and I won't use it with an electric guitar (if that makes a difference).

Alan asked:

I just got a good acoustic guitar. It has a solid wood top and I'd like to take care of it properly. The guy at the music store sold me a guitar humidifier when I bought the guitar, and not knowing any better I bought it.

Did the guy at the store rip me off or do I really need a guitar humidifier for my acoustic guitar? He did not tell me how to use it...I don't know if I should put the humidifier in the guitar case in whenever I am not playing it or if I just need to put it in once in a while?

Thanks for the help.
