Fender Guitars is one of the leading manufacturers of electric guitars, and they also offer several acoustic guitar models. These offerings are more of a budget class type of guitar and are principally promoted through the Fender branding. Guild Guitars, one of the Fender companies, also offers acoustic and acoustic electric guitars.
The Fender acoustic guitars will not compete with the construction quality, components or materials used in the manufacture of the 'high-end' competition, but at this price point that is not Fender's intention. However, if you are a beginner or just want a cheap acoustic guitar, you may be happy with the value that the Fender line presents.
